President Biya promises “mutually beneficial partnerships” to foreign investments

We will be offering mutually beneficial partnerships,” stated the Cameroonian Head of State, Paul Biya, on January 10, 2014 in Yaoundé when receiving the New Year’s wishes of the diplomatic corps.

Paul Biya also noted that, in the search for partners to accompany Cameroon on its path towards emergence in 2035, he “had the opportunity to speak with various leading international industrial groups who were inclined to invest” in Cameroon.

Indeed, in January and March 2013, President Biya completed economic visits to France and Turkey, respectively, during which investors from these Western countries were informed about the variety of opportunities available to them in Cameroon.
